Domain Registration through OpenSRS and Tera-byte

Awesome, I have long been a fan of OpenSRS because of the amount of control that it gave resellers and the no-nonsense administration interface, that is simple yet effective. Plus being a Canadian company and seemingly supporting open source technologies was a bonus.

Recently I received a crank call and figured that the most likely candidate for this anonymous rant left on my phone could be a controversial piece I wrote on a Vancouver incident. Since very few people except my closest friends have my number, I surmised that maybe somebody did a whois, and looked at my contact information.

Upon inquiry with my domain registrars, Tera Byte through their awesome online irc chat interface, and yes, they do support domain privacy. Without having to shell out extra dough, I have a little bit more of peace of mind.

Thank you to OpenSRS and Tera-Byte, I am so glad I stuck with then and did not get caught up with Godaddy.

Well that's normal, some

Well that's normal, some people will not appreciate you for what you do but I think that is part of the job. But don't let it get to you, just keep doing what you are doing as long as you know that it is right. You have a nice blog by the way. :)

Anyway, what is wrong with godaddy?
